Description

Hinton Hall is an important Grade II Listed country house built in 1859 by the renowned local architect, S Pountney Smith of Shrewsbury for Robert Peel Ethelston. The house was built in a neo-Jacobean style with two storeys and a large basement with a former service wing of three storeys. The interior is in a neo-Jacobean and neo-baroque style with well detailed fixtures and ornaments.

The house will require fairly significant restoration, but offers a fantastic opportunity to restore either to its former glory as an impressive private house, wedding venue or other commercial uses. The setting is exquisite, overlooking undulating countryside.

The ground floor has an air of formality with a large great hall opening up into a library, dining room, breakfast room, drawing room and on to the kitchen. On the first floor are 8 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the second floor are further attic rooms.
To the rear is a derelict stable / courtyard block Lodge
