If we could just pick the house up and move it we would definitely do so as we are very sad that circumstances mean we are unable to enjoy everything it has to offer.
The village and the neighbours are very friendly and there are regular activities in the village hall including a film club with monthly showings of current films and the annual fete. There is also a village cricket club and excellent places for walking the dog. If you are interested in riding there is a very good local stables and the nearby farm sells top quality meat from home reared animals, while the Alkham garden centre provides everything you want to keep your garden in tip top condition. There the excellent Marquis restaurant within walking distance and Tescos and Sainsburys are about five minutes away by car, although the small supermarket and other shops in nearby River can provide for your immediate needs.
