Full description

Tenure: Freehold

If you are in search of a good sized 3 separate bedroom house perhaps for you and your family, or a buy-to-let investment with a good yield but don't want a Victorian property then this maybe the one for you.

Compared to your typical 100+ year old houses in Gillingham it is relatively modern.

It has undergone some improvement including gas central heating and double glazing, but it does require some further improvement which will enable you to stamp your own personality on it, and this has been reflected within the asking price. Unlike so many properties in the area, the layout is great with 3 separate bedrooms, and upstairs bathroom with separate toilet.

The house is located just over a mile from the Town Centre, where you will find a good range of shops, mainline station for the commuter and Medway Park Leisure Centre for the fitness fan. For even more shopping options, 2½ miles along the road you will find the Dockside Outlet Centre which also offers entertainment options including bars, restaurants and takeaway's as well as a multi screen cinema. If you fancy a pleasant walk then you will love Riverside Country Park situated a mile along the road where you can enjoy a waterside walk.

What the Owner says:

The fact that I have lived here for well over 20 years shows how much I have enjoyed it here. It has been a great family home and I have found the location to be very convenient. Although it is a quiet and pleasant place to live, all amenities are within a mile or so. I have done a lot to the house in my time here including installation of double glazing and gas central heating, and knocking the dining room and kitchen into one which has created so much more space. It is now time for me to move on and as I already have somewhere to go, I am able to move quickly so my buyer will be able to move straight in.
