Full description

Tenure: Leasehold

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £199,950, please contact Cubitt & West.

Offered chain free and ready to move into, this ground floor retirement apartment sits to the rear of the development, with direct access onto the landscaped, communal garden.

With it's own patio, the property is immaculately presented and features a surprising amount of storage including fitted wardrobes and a walk-in hall cupboard.

Fully wheelchair accessible, there is a lovely, fully tiled wet-room and the lounge/dining room is a great place in which to relax with family and friends. The kitchen and bedroom also look out over the garden.

With a modern hotel-like feel, Morgan Court offers a superb residents lounge and concierge area and we are informed that the service charge includes staff costs, cleaning, heating and maintenance of all the communal areas, plus window cleaning, professional garden, water bills and buildings insurance.

The bustling medieval town centre is only moments away by foot and nearby Petworth Park offers 750 acres of beautiful walks.

Built by McCarthy and Stone in 2012, this immaculately-presented ground floor retirement apartment still feels fresh and new.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

My mother bought the apartment brand new in 2012 and was one of the first to move into the development.

As a family we were very impressed with the quality of the fixtures and fittings and have found the McCarthy and Stone staff to be very friendly and professional.

Mum moved into residential care after three and a half very happy years at Morgan Court. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in the apartment and loved being able to step straight out into the garden. The neighbours are lovely and there is a really welcoming, sociable community spirit. The part-time house manager is wonderful and she will happily provide as much - or as little - support as possible.
