HOMEOWNERS VIEW View of Village Life

Having lived in our house for 30 years, and indeed the village of Needingworth for 38 years, it is not hard to understand that we really enjoy living in a village atmosphere.

There is a very good primary school which both our children attended and friends made whilst they were there.

There are numerous clubs and activities going on in the village if you have a mind to join. Examples of these are; a tennis club, gardening club, bowls club, and beer and wine society.

The village hall is a real asset, Brownies and Cubs hold their meetings there, and there is a weekly coffee club called Chatters on a Thursday. The village annual music festival is also widely attended.

There are three pubs, one on the High Street, and two in Holywell which is joined to Needingworth, both of these are by the river and are delightful on a warm sunny evening.

There are football and rugby pitches and a walk called The Falklands walk which is great for dog walkers.

We first moved into a house on the High Street, and as our family grew, moved to a house further down the road in Priory Road.

Our present house in Priory Road came up for sale and we fell in love with it.

Originally there was a double garage at the front, but my husband moved his business to work from home and we had an extension above the garage built which became his office with separate side access.

All in all if you are looking for a a village which encompasses everything to suit all age ranges and needs I would be the first the say Needingworth fits the bill.
