The Vendor's View - We love the location, it is ideally situated to easily reach the coast or Canterbury, providing us with the best of both worlds. Bradley Farmhouse is so pretty, especially in the summer with all the plants and flowers in full bloom. People often comment how lovely the house looks. We both love animals and with the nature reserve opposite you can see so much wildlife as you go for lovely walks.
We have extensively renovated and extended the property, and re-proportioned the rooms to ensure they are all a good size. The layout is now, what we feel, how a house should be. The master bedroom is a lovely place to relax in, especially with the double doors and balcony. We converted the cellar into a great, versatile space that we have used as our grandchildrens playroom, but would make a fantastic cinema or games room.
People here are so friendly, and while we know our neighbours, the houses are relative spread out here and everyone allows each other their own privacy. Nearby Preston has a nice country shop, which services everyday needs. The local walks are in abundance and it is so wonderful to have a local pub serving very good food and even offers a boat ride!
Being surrounded by beautiful farmland, we have enjoyed walking in the local area very much. This year we were lucky enough to have some baby owls in the garden! We will certainly miss the tranquility that comes with living here and also the fantastic location. We love the house and have been very happy here, but as we are getting older we have decided that now is the right time to move nearer to our children in Ashford.
