DESCRIPTION Understood to date from about 1540 Monks Way is an enchanting and interesting timber framed period house which is Grade II* Listed as being of Architectural and Historic Interest. The front external elevation was originally jettied and then largely refaced in the eighteenth century with painted brickwork to the ground floor and plasterwork to the first floor set with sash windows beneath a pitched peg tiled roof with a dormer window.  

GROUND FLOOR A panelled front door with a fanlight above opens into an entrance vestibule with an inner door leading into the well-proportioned dining room, which has a bay window to the front and exposed studwork to one wall. An open archway leads to the adjoining kitchen which has a bay window to the front with a seat and is fitted with an extensive range of modern limed oak front cupboards and drawers to three walls with work surfaces, tiled surrounds, an inset sink, space for a cooker, below counter space for a dishwasher and a washing machine, a built in fridge/freezer and a door to the side passageway.
