On summer evenings the kids play outside and everyone gets together for some fun in the sun with occasional community events.

Having lived here for 25 years we have seen the area change a lot, especially in Loughton High Road, which is easy to reach by bus if you do not fancy the walk, and provides a variety of bars and restaurants for nights out as well as some trendy boutiques for shopping.
