Brief History - Westbourne Gardens is located on the Wingfield / Bradford on Avon side of the town and nestled among a wide variety of impressive Victorian properties. In 1821 Trowbridge overtook Salisbury as the largest place in the county; a position it maintained until the census of 1871 when the expanding railway town of Swindon just edged ahead.
