LOCATION
The subjects are situated 20 miles north of the City of Aberdeen, being 4 miles north of Ellon and 15 miles south west of Peterhead.

Private education is available in the City which also has 2 universities. Aberdeen International Airport offers regular domestic and European flights, in addition to which there is a train station with regular services to both north and south, and overnight sleeper service to London.
