2 bedroom barn conversion for saleAnsley Hall, Coleshill Road, Ansley Common
Sold by Us £225,000
Ansley Common is part of the North Warwickshire Civil Parish of Ansley which started life as a small clearing in the Forrest of Arden in the early 11th century. The village was named in the 1086 Doomsday Book and detailed along with the surrounding countryside as being owned by Lady Godiva.
By the early 17th century and following a number of ownership disputes, the land was bought by the Ludford family who supervised the construction of Ansley Hall.
The Hall and its outbuildings evolved over a number of years and is made up of a group of buildings laid out in an irregular pattern around a central courtyard and surrounded by rolling countryside.
Whilst offering a feeling of seclusion, Ansley Hall is convenient for major commuter routes via the A5, M42, M6, M69 and M1 providing access to major cities and business centres.
The property is approached through security gates leading to a gravelled car parking area with adjacent garaging and a series of well tended footpaths leading to the accommodation. On entering the ground 'The Dairy' has the benefit of a single garage with parking to the front, use of the visitors spaces is also available.
The Dairy is a charming conversion which originally formed a part of the barns . Whilst retaining many of the original features it offers good sized accommodation with a spacious lounge and good sized kitchen/diner.
