A WORD FROM THE OWNER:
We moved to Walthamstow just before starting a family and have put a lot of love and hard work into making our house a comfortable family home. We had plans to convert the loft but work is taking us away before we've had the chance to do that, but there's the potential to make it a huge space! There's a great sense of community here, and many people on the street have been here all their lives. As soon as we moved in we had neighbours introducing themselves and offering to help out in any way they could. We love the large open living room / diner, having a large bathroom feels like such a luxury and its surprisingly convenient having an upstairs utility room. We've turned the old kitchen into a little study which is great for working from home and watching the squirrels play in the garden! It's such a great location - in the golden triangle of stations, with Queens Road, Walthamstow Central and St James Street all within ten minutes walk. Now Lea Bridge Station has opened there are even more options for day trips! Being central means we've got easy walks to 56 (the best cafe in Walthamstow!), Sodo (the best pizza in Walthamstow!), the International Supermarket, market and the village. It's also easy to get to lots of green places for walks - some of our favourites are St James Park and the Waterworks off Lea Bridge Road, which always seem so peaceful."
