Just what we were looking for – a cottage in a peaceful location away from the bustling traffic – we fell in love with it at once.

During our fourteen years here we have come to appreciate more than ever the song of the birds and just observing them right outside the windows. Woodpeckers, swallows, little owls and many more are frequent visitors.

We have loved star gazing without light pollution, friendly horse riders stopping for a chat and growing our own fruit and vegetables. The magnificent views across the Bowcombe valley give us a hint of every season and country walks start from our front door – perfect for dog walking.

Visitors always comment on the tranquillity of the area when they go and we will be very sad to leave our little haven, but we hope someone will love it as much as we have.
