Further afield but still only 25 minutes by car is the lovely sandy beach at Sandymouth, in stunning countryside and with a National Trust Café and plenty of parking. Bude is a delightful small seaside resort with a huge sandy beach, a great selection of shops and cafes and a fascinating canal and Sea Lock.

Directions
From Bude proceed on the A39 towards Bideford proceeding through Kilkhampton, continuing past all the signs to Morwenstow. Proceed for a couple of miles further, taking the second turning on the left signposted to Hartland and follow the road towards the village. Take the right fork signposted to Hartland Point and Lighthouse and at Brownsham Cross turn right. Follow the signs for
Exmansworthy and Fattacott, Exmansworthy Farm will be seen with a name plate at the entrance driveway on your right-hand side. Parking is found to the rear of the barns.
