PURCHASING THIS PROPERTY WITH A LIFETIME LEASE

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £475,000, please contact Cubitt & West.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This bungalow is situated high up in Westdene and therefore has a great outlook, also being built in the 60’s there are lots of big windows which allows lots of light to come flooding in. The combination of space and light is always a real winner and in its current layout we can just imagine enjoying a hot summers day with the doors from the kitchen straight onto the garden open all day long. We mention ‘current’ layout as it could be an option to switch rooms about or to even knock a few walls down like some of the neighbours have done, subject to planning permission.

The accommodation is in good condition and although it’s normal for the new owners to redecorate to their own tastes, there would be no issue for the new buyer to move straight in.

Location is very important and Westdene Drive is always popular as it has a good balance between being quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to all the daily essentials with local shops and amenities within easy reach. Moving here you need never worry about parking issues again as the road is not packed with cars, but more importantly you would have your own private driveway leading to your garage.

What the Owner says:

We've lived here for around 18 years which we hope is a fairly good advert. Our family have grown up here and 'flown the nest' and so we feel now is the time to down size.

We are keen to stay local as feel very much at home in this area and have made many friends here. We shall miss our garden in particular and have many fond memories of happy times spent over enjoying various summers.

One thing the house comes with which we can fully recommend is a fantastic view over the area and the sunrise.
