Full description

A lovingly designed two bedroom apartment, expertly laid out over the top two floors of a Victorian, end of terrace conversion. Beautifully refurbished throughout with engineered oak floors and lots of clever touches. Lee Valley Park and lots of other open green spaces are all nearby.

You'll be enjoying two floors of bright, airy well designed living space. The 400 square foot loft conversion consists of a lounge/diner, a cleverly designed semi-open plan kitchen and plenty of storage under the remaining eaves. It's all lit by a pair of large skylights.

Downstairs you have your own front door and entrance hall decked out in some lovely floor tiles. The first floor is given over to two double bedrooms and a bathroom that wouldn't look out of place in a boutique hotel, all pristine white fittings and designer floor tiles.

The design throughout the rest of the apartment is just as stylish, with engineered timber floorboards underfoot throughout, metro tiling in the kitchen, pendant filament lighting in the dining area and a real wood burner in the lounge.

The open green space of Lee Valley Park is just a few minute's walk away, while Walthamstow Leisure Centre - with swimming pool, gym and sports courts - is literally around the corner. Walthamstow Central station is an 11 minute bus ride away, or just under a mile on foot.

- The glorious blue and green space of Walthamstow Marshes, a green flag award winning nature reserve, are all within easy walking distance.
- From Walthamstow Central you can get directly to Liverpool Street or Oxford Circus in just 20 minutes.
- You're at the end of the terrace, with all the benefits of being effectively semi-detached.

We have throughly enjoyed living in Verulam Aveune, the neighbourhood is friendly and really convenient for Walthamstow and Hackney. We often walk to Walthamstow Village which is only a 15-20 mins and has lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Getting to Blackhorse road or Walthamstow central is about a 20 min walk or there are lots of regular buses from Markhouse road to both stations which takes under 10 mins. It is under 10 mins walk to St James Street station which goes direct into Liverpool Street station.
We have updated the property and replaced almost everything in it over the past year and a half and have added storage upstairs in the living room and in the hallway. The rooms are bigger than average for a 2 bedroom maisonette, living on the first and top floor with high ceilings brings in loads of light. It's a lovely house to live in - we love utilising the top floor as the main living space as you can watch the sun set in the evening across the rooftops of Walthamstow and feel like you're in the trees in the summer as both windows open wide to let the outside in.
