A WORD FROM THE OWNER....
We have throughly enjoyed living in Verulam Aveune, the neighbourhood is friendly and really convenient for Walthamstow and Hackney. We often walk to Walthamstow Village which is only a 15-20 mins and has lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Getting to Blackhorse road or Walthamstow central is about a 20 min walk or there are lots of regular buses from Markhouse road to both stations which takes under 10 mins. It is under 10 mins walk to St James Street station which goes direct into Liverpool Street station.
We have updated the property and replaced almost everything in it over the past year and a half and have added storage upstairs in the living room and in the hallway. The rooms are bigger than average for a 2 bedroom maisonette, living on the first and top floor with high ceilings brings in loads of light. It's a lovely house to live in - we love utilising the top floor as the main living space as you can watch the sun set in the evening across the rooftops of Walthamstow and feel like you're in the trees in the summer as both windows open wide to let the outside in.
