"There's so much to love about Walthamstow, and I think the area around Lloyd Park is particularly special. Lloyd Park and the William Morris Gallery are on your doorstep, The Bell does a mean roast and the Rose & Crown is a really friendly pub with a community feel (and a theatre upstairs) - all less than five minutes walk away! Venture a bit further to the Village, and you have a great choice of restaurants and pubs as well as God's Own Junkyard (a tribute to neon) and Mother's Ruin Gin Palace. The regular market is great for cheap eats, and the pie shop is amazing. There's loads of transport options in this part of Walthamstow with Blackhorse Road station just up the road, and some great cycling into Central London and Hackney over the Marshes. What I've most enjoyed about living in Walthamstow is the sense of community. Regular free events that make the whole community come together (of which there are loads), make you realise what a special place it is."
