Tenure: Freehold

This recently refurbished two bedroom semi-detached bungalow is tucked away on the outskirts of Hythe, so if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to retire to, then I would recommend that you come and have a look at this charming home.

Stepping in through the front door for the first time, you will instantly notice how bright and airy this bungalow feels. The lounge/diner has a sunny aspect and is flooded with light from the morning sun, making this the perfect place to sit and relax with a good book and a nice cup of tea.

The kitchen has a wonderful modern feel, making it the ideal place to prepare dinner for when friends come over to visit.

If you have ever struggled to get out of bed in the morning then I think this bungalow might have a remedy for that, as the modern bathroom has a lovely shower which should wash away the morning cobwebs. If this doesn’t wake you up, then I would suggest going for a stroll alongside the Royal Military Canal, where you can take in the sights and sounds of the local wildlife.

This home has a secluded back garden, with a lawn for the children to play on and a decked area that catches the morning sun. If you like alfresco dining, I would definitely recommend setting up your table and chairs so you can sit in the garden and enjoy your breakfast. What a great way to start your day.

What the Owner says:

We have done a lot of work to our bungalow since we bought it and the first thing that we did was change the layout. As both bedrooms were at the back of the house we didn’t have any access to the garden, so we moved a wall and switched the main bedroom and the lounge/diner around. As the lounge/diner is now at the back of the house, this has given us access to the garden via the French doors which we installed. We then had the kitchen and bathroom re-fitted, had new carpets laid, redecorated and replaced the boiler.

We are only looking to move so we can buy somewhere closer to our daughter's school.
