Why you’ll like it:

These modern apartments were converted from offices in 2004, and are now amongst the most sought after along the London Road from Preston Park. They are surrounded by secure gates and as you enter the lobby, it feels more akin to a hotel foyer with stylish artwork on the walls and slate tiles on the floor. This apartment resides on the ground floor of the rear block, and is approached up a few steps where your door is clearly marked to the right. Once inside your apartment it is immediately apparent that this is a very attractive flat. All of the rooms are well proportioned, as purpose built flats often are, and they all reside off the wide entrance hall which has ample space for coats and shoes to keep the flat clutter free.

The bright and modern living room is first on the right,; the eastern wall of which is almost entirely glazed as it has floor to ceiling double glazed doors leading out onto the sizeable and newly decked sun terrace. Due to the position of the block, there is far less noise pollution from the road, and the outlook is attractive looking out to the sweet cottage opposite. There is plenty of space to sit out here to dine, and this area becomes an extension of the living room in the warmer months, but when it cools down, the insulation keeps you toasty and warm, and there is ample space inside for both a dining table and chairs as well as comfortable sofas.

Opposite is the kitchen, which has new units in black gloss below the counter and cream gloss for the wall units. The worktops are solid wood which adds to the fashionable and polished finish, as does the slate tiled floor. The slimline dishwasher is on trend in brushed stainless steel, and there’s space for a tall freestanding fridge freezer. The washing machine is integrated however, as is the electric oven and gas hob, and the splash backs lighten the room in white metro brick tiles. From here a rear door leads out to the private parking space, and the garage is directly opposite too; perfect for storage of your second car or bike.

Next door is the family bathroom which has undergone a complete transformation, and is now the epitome of luxury. The jacuzzi bath not only has massager jets, but also multi colour lighting for atmosphere, and a bluetooth speaker so you can listen to the music from your phone as you relax in comfort! The bath is squared and wider at the shower end for extra elbow room, and the shower has a rainfall head to really wake you up in the morning. The walls are tiled in urban grey with a mosaic border, and the gleaming mirrored cabinet finished the superior look.

The bedrooms are both good size doubles, and neutrally decorated and carpeted to suit all types of furnishing, and the master has an en suite shower room in delicate lemon and white.

This complex was built with luxury in mind, so the ground floor also has a gym and sauna for sole use of the residents, and was completely refurbished 12 months ago.

Bear in mind:

With two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, this would be the perfect apartment for professional sharers.
