I bought this property back in the 1990's as I thought it would be easy to maintain, had shops nearby and I could also easily walk into the town if I fancied a night out, or needed to catch a train into central London.

I also like the fact that it had its own garden and a park just over the road which was ideal as I had small children.

The maisonette has been rented out for quite a while now and, before putting it onto the market, I have redecorated throughout, updated the bathroom and had a brand new kitchen fitted.

I will also clear the garden so that the new owner can really make the most of relaxing in it on a warm summer's day
