"Having friends that lived in Edward Road some 25 years ago, I knew where I wanted to buy when it was my turn. I love the aspect of the flat, both that it is a sunny little home, and that it is south facing the playing fields and reservoirs behind. Having the open space is such a joy both in the evenings and at weekends when I have had many good times relaxing with friends, pottering in the garden and enjoying the peace and quiet, hard to believe you are in London. Also being within easy reach of both tube and overground transport is a bonus. I love the market - 'pound-a-bowl', shopping at the Turkish store for fresh food, snatching a coffee at Rio's and walking around the footpaths to the River Lea just around the corner. Always good chatting to neighbours and love the community feel of the area. A trip to the Village is a good spot for food and friendly pubs.
