Are you currently living in a large family home and feel that maybe the time is right for you to down size and release some equity? Or maybe you would like peace of mind knowing that help is at hand should you run into difficulty.

If so, then this one bedroom retirement home could be the perfect property for you.

Situated on the ground floor this apartment has a bright and sunny aspect lounge area. From this you also have direct access into the fitted kitchen so you can still entertain your friends or family whilst preparing some tasty treats for them. The bedroom provides ample space to accommodate either a double or single bed and also there is a fitted wardrobe to hang away your clothes.

The communal lounge is often frequented by other residents enjoying a cup of tea and having a chat or doing one of the many puzzles, a great opportunity to find new friends! There are also well kept communal gardens and a laundry room. For peace of mind there is an on-site manager and a 24 hour care line to assist with any emergencies.

Sitting in the heart of Purley, only minutes from the station and all other local amenities, this apartment must be viewed to be fully appreciated.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

We bought this apartment for our father and spent a lot of time looking for the right home for him and this certainly ticked all the boxes. The fact that it is next to Tesco is great as he could just walk there in minutes to pick up his shopping, plus there are excellent bus links into Croydon and train links into London from Purley Station.

There is also a great sense of community at Holmgrove House which makes it a real pleasure to live there. Residents seem to keep an eye out for each other. They also organise activities such as coffee mornings and card games.
