When our sellers moved here back in 1995 they knew they wanted space and freedom for both themselves and for their children and to hopefully get to experience what they considered a better way of life. Our vendors tell me they had a dream...but would it all turn into one big nightmare? After all they were 'Townies' moving out to the sticks. 21 years and 6 months later, they have had the time of their lives!

Shortly after moving in they purchased additional land to expand their home. With this extra land, they planted over 300 trees & shrubs and create their own mini woodland, complete with wildlife ponds and secluded habitats which swarm with wildlife of every kind. Female deer with their offspring stroll across the lawn and through the field at all times of day. Birds of prey circle over their wood in the near distance where they often nest. It is always busy with the comings and goings of all different species of small birds that love the variety of native trees and bushes that our vendors have planted.

Our clients have also experienced owning their own horse and were lucky enough to be able to keep her at their own Home, not in a rented stable & yard somewhere else. The ability to just saddle up and ride out of the gate and along some of the local droves was ideal. They have also in the past camped in their woodland, looking up into a night sky, the stars dazzling bright out here with no light pollution! They designed and built their very own wood burner and installed this for the Christmas of 1999. As they sat in front 'The Beast' as she is affectionately called that New Year's Eve, there was a power cut. This lasted for two hours. But that didn't bother them, nor the kids, because there was an abundance of light and heat from the fire, so they cooked soup on the top plate and made toast over the embers.

Our vendor's children grew up here and loved every minute. Their Granddaughter was born here too. They all have their own cherished memories of growing up out here in Second Drove. They were the envy of their school friends having such a fun place to grow up in: Easter egg hunts, camping sleep overs, bonfire nights, Halloween parties... Not to mention the water fights!

The current owners moved here to make their own perfect home in 1995 and never had any intention of ever leaving and would end their days here.
