Fritwell is a pretty village dating back to before the Norman Conquest. For a village of less than 500 inhabitants it is fortunate to have a post office and shop plus an award-winning butchers, a Village Hall for community and private events, two churches and a playing field with play and multi-sports areas for children. There is even a great C of E first school. This is an unusual level of amenities for a village of this size. Its access is also excellent with the M40 nearby and Bicester rail station to London less than 6 miles. This combined with its situation amid some of the prettiest countryside makes it a great place to live.

Town Well End is a small collection of houses built around the turn of the century. Unlike many modern developments that can appear soulless or "samey", here no two houses are quite the same, giving it the more natural feeling of a typical village lane. Number 10 sits in an enviable position on a corner plot with nothing opposite it in the road, and apart from one house several hundred metres away all that you can see is trees and fields. Hence the natural light is absolutely wonderful, the feeling of space is significant, and overall it has an awful lot to offer. Outside, the front is split into two. A block-paved driveway to the right is wide as well as deep, more than ample for several vehicles, and it is separated from the road outside by a stone wall. The pretty front garden contains various shrubs and border plants alongside a pleasant area of lawn. To the right the gate closes off a path, ideal for hiding bins, bikes etc, that leads to the garden. Paving runs round to the rear of the house, flanked by a low planter wall, and deepens out to become a wide terrace stretching behind both sets of double doors from the kitchen and living room. Shallow stepped paving provides several seating areas and to the rear of the lawn on the left is another sun trap too. Lawn on the right is separated from a generous store area beyond which hides the oil tank, and here might be an ideal space for a shed or even home office.
