PURCHASING THIS PROPERTY WITH A LIFETIME LEASE

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £210,000, please contact Ward & Partners.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This attractive modern house is situated within a truly unique development in Hythe. Downsizing can sometimes be a little bit difficult; however this home should make it very easy for you. The décor is excellent and will allow anyone to just move straight in and unpack.

These homes were built with retirement needs in mind. This house has a dining room, which could also double up as a downstairs bedroom, and there is also a shower room on the ground floor. The staircase was designed so that there is space for a stairlift and there are power points ready for one to be installed if it is needed.

The spacious lounge has a lovely outlook over the courtyard and is awash with light from the afternoon sun. Both of the upstairs bedrooms also have lovely views; the front bedroom looks over the courtyard and the back bedroom looks out over tress and the countryside.

If you enjoy watching out for local wildlife then you are going to want to spend a lot of time in the conservatory. Looking out over the gardens and countryside, this is going to be the perfect place to watch the birds feeding or to just sit and relax with a good book and a nice cup of tea.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

My mum had lived here since the development was built and it was just perfect for her. It gave her independence as she had her own private entrance, but help was never far away if she needed it.

Her neighbours were very supportive and became extremely good friends, and although my mum was on her own, she was never lonely.

Saltwood Care Centre are the owners of the freehold and have talked about developing some of the land to the back of my mum’s home.
