I had looked a lot of properties before I found this one, most of the new houses I viewed just had nothing interesting about them and were too far from villages centres. Although not new this home had recently been converted and I only needed to make changes to suit my own tastes. I was able to add in the storage I wanted but the kitchen appealed because of the workspace it offers. I like to watch out of the kitchen window and see people passing, going about their daily activities. I have met a lot of local people and found them and my neighbours friendly and helpful.
I have a short walk to the village centre and the train station is also nearby which I use often.
