Our Time Here - This was the first house we viewed when we decided to move back to Ramsgate, and it spoilt us for any other house. We just couldnt match the fantastic kitchen, and so we knew this was the property for us. This house is all about the space, providing room for all the family, yet maintains a lovely cosy, family atmosphere.
The kitchen is a very large room with a vaulted wooden ceiling, and its an amazing communal, sociable space. We like the fact we can spend time with the whole family in one room; theres always plenty of activity in there! The kitchen is the real hub of the house and where we spend most of our time.
The house was recently renovated, and as well as the stunning kitchen there are a whole host of lovely rooms, including a beautiful bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and a luxurious wet room.
There are lots of great things about living in this area. The house is only 10 minutes walk away from the seafront, with the Royal Harbour and lots of small bistros, bars and restaurants to choose from. Ramsgate has an abundance of interesting architecture and a nice seafront, so in the summer its a beautiful place to be. Westwood Cross Shopping Centre is nearby, just a 10 minute drive away, which is full of high street stores, supermarkets, restaurants and leisure facilities, including a cinema.
Additionally, the area is well known for its excellent education, and the house is within easy walking distance of some renowned schools, with more just a short drive away. You are spoiled for choice if you have children of school age.
Were going to miss the space and the cosy atmosphere here. Despite its size and the versatility of the plentiful accommodation, the house has such a warm, family feel to it. We will always remember spending Christmas here with extended family, opening the table out to seat 12+, lots of children running around, and the 12ft Christmas tree in the kitchen. Its a very family oriented house and there are so many memories that will stick in our minds.
