Tenure: Freehold

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £360,000, please contact Cubitt & West.

Petworth Drive is a lovely well established cul-de-sac in one of Horsham’s more sought after locations. It is predominantly made up of much larger 4 bedroom detached homes, so this pretty 2 bedroom semi-detached home is a rare find indeed. So whether you are a young professional couple looking to upgrade in size and/or location, or a buyer of later years making that difficult downsize move then your search for a new home could well be coming to an end.

The property is well situated for that commute to work, Littlehaven Station is just a short walk away and has regular trains up to Gatwick and London at peak times. And for those of us that drive to work then you will be pleased to hear that Horsham bypass is just a few minutes away and can connect you easily with Surrey, M23 and the South Coast.

There is a good size entrance hall with a handy coat cupboard and cloakroom. The lounge is the owners favourite room and it is easy to see why as whilst I was there the sunshine was streaming through the window. The addition of the garden room/dining area provides extra reception space and there is also a study area, perfect for the home PC.

Bedroom 1 has a built in wardrobe and its own en-suite shower room, whilst bedroom 2 is serviced by the rarely used family bathroom making it perfect for guests.

What the Owner says:

I bought the property over 20 years ago now, directly from the builder Cala Homes. I have lived here happily ever since partly due to the fact that you couldn’t ask for better neighbours, within our little cul-de-sac there is a real sense of community. I particularly liked this plot within the close, not only do you have a lovely outlook out of the front but as the property behind is side on you are not directly over looked either.

I had the property extended almost immediately and I was really pleased that we were able to match the brick work exactly. The garden room/dining area gave me all the extra downstairs space I needed.
