Our Time Here - The location and a south facing rear garden were the factors that first drew us to the house. We really liked the light, sunny and spacious feeling. The houses in this street are well spaced out and it feels open, safe and quiet. It's a house with a lovely atmosphere and we've lived here happily for ten years. The family before were here for 50!
My favourite room is the large back bedroom. It has windows facing south and west, which the people before us used as their grandmas bed-sitting room. Equally pleasant, is the room below, which we use as our sitting room. It has the same dual-aspect, with the added benefit of a of a French window opening into the back garden.
Now that we are getting older and less mobile we have to look for a smaller home and garden.
