Full description

Tenure: Freehold

This may look like any other Victorian terraced house but its size and layout will certainly make it stand out from the crowd. As soon as you enter you begin to appreciate the amount of room that it offers, as you are greeted by a huge lounge/diner plenty big enough for a dedicated living and dining area, and great for entertaining and parties. The kitchen doesn’t disappoint as it is also a great size with plenty of cupboard space and work-surfaces, providing a great environment to inspire you to create your culinary delicacy’s.

Upstairs you will discover the rarely found layout of 3 separate bedrooms, separate upstairs bathroom; so no downstairs bathroom or bedroom off bedroom as like so many other houses in the area. If you are not a fan of D.I.Y or of those ‘offers a blank canvas’ houses you will love this one as it has all been done for you with modern kitchen and bathroom, double glazing, gas central heating, good décor and floor coverings; you will be able to just turn the key, move in, unpack and start enjoying your new home straight away.

You should also love the location, as its far enough out of the congested heart of Gillingham but close enough to be convenient. In fact, it is only ¾ a mile or so to the High Street with plenty of shops, mainline station for the commuter and Medway Park Leisure Centre for the fitness fan. All in all, a well-cared for substantial family home waiting to become yours.

What the Owner says:

When we were looking to buy 7 years ago, we were expecting our first child and planning on expanding the family further so, we needed a house large enough for us and the kids. Having looked at loads as soon as we saw this one we knew it was the one for us. It offered so much more space than others we had viewed and we loved the layout as we hated the idea of a downstairs bathroom. We also didn’t want to do any work so, the fact that it was in really good condition was ideal. In our time here we have made some improvements including redecorating, some replastering, and laying new flooring throughout. It has proved to be an ideal first family home giving us all the space we could need for us and our children.
