PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This particular home, in this quiet close, was built just over ten years ago and was designed to accommodate a growing family. Once inside, the warm and welcoming lounge and kitchen both overlook the garden. In the kitchen there is also space for a table and chairs to create a breakfast area. So, whether you are cooking or just catching up on the day’s events, you can keep an eye on the little ones doing their homework or playing outside. For more special occasions such as Christmas or birthdays, where extended family descend, there is also the use of your very own separate dining room, giving that extra space to spread out. The house boasts both a downstairs shower room and upstairs bathroom, so having to join the queue in the morning will be a thing of the past and is very handy for when guests come to stay. Three bedrooms upstairs will provide sanctuary for your children as they grow up. The garage has been converted into further accommodation, providing a downstairs bedroom, this may be useful for guests or dependant relatives or this could easily be converted back if the new owners so wish. There is a plethora of storage options here too, in the form of multiple eaves on the first floor, numerous cupboards on the ground and the added bonus of a little room behind the old garage door. The low maintenance rear garden offers a sense of privacy. Local schools are in walking distance and the train station is less than a mile up the road.

What the Owner says:

This has been a great place for our children to grow up because it is a very family friendly area. The fact that they could walk to school has made life so much easier.

We’ve really enjoyed having the South Downs so close to us, spending many weekends walking over them – often to the pub it has to be said!

We’ve felt very safe here and the neighbours are lovely, we’ve got to know a large number of them very well.

We now need a bigger house as the children are growing up fast but we will always treasure the memories we have made here over the last decade.
