"Superb"
We stayed just one night (but I wish we'd stayed longer). We had the double en-suite with gorgeous jacuzzi bath. Our room was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean with lots of storage space. Breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Kay and Howard are perfect hosts.

"Warm welcome"
We were given a lovely warm welcome at this great b&b. Our room was very well equipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Peaceful location with a pub serving food just a five minute walk away.

Property built in 1980s, changed to B&B business in 2010. Steadily increasing trade with many repeat bookings, especially with contract workers/reps etc. Fox and Hounds pub/restaurant 5 minutes' walk away and offering 2 for 1 meals.

House has upstairs, 5 double bedrooms. Large bedroom was designed to be 2 double bedrooms with 2 doors but no division wall ever built. Potential for en-suite family room. Currently letting rooms consist of 1 double en-suite with jacuzzi bath/shower, 1 double and 1 twin room with shared bathroom, with bath and separate shower. Large bedroom used by owners, with 1 bedroom used as office. Downstairs consists of owners lounge, guest/owners dining room, conservatory/guest lounge, kitchen, utility room with downstairs cloakroom/toilet.

Block-paved drive to front, with ample parking for 5/6 cars, could be easily increased as current owners store touring caravan at side of house on hard standing. Front, rear and side of house covered by security, camera to front.

Property heated by oil-fired central heating, with boiler and oil tank in garage.

New development in the area which started in 2016 and is expected to last for 25 years creating a new road linking to the A1 and large housing development with commercial properties also. This is likely to create demand in the area for guesthouses/B&B's from contractors on the site.
