The current owner, KLC School of Design (Chelsea Harbour London) educated Interior Designer Natalie moved to Talbot Woods in 2011, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the outskirts of London to move her and her three boys to the freedom of the Dorset sea and countryside.

"I started looking at properties in this part of Dorset back in 2010 and struggled to find exactly what I was looking for. My brief was very demanding with 3 growing young boys who all have such differing demands. It was paramount for me to find a truly warm and spacious family home where they could grow from young boys to independent and truly fulfilled young men whilst living a Huckleberry Finn life in the New Forest or Studland to the Pirates of the Caribbean on the Poole and Bournemouth Seas!

The property needed to be located perfectly for me to maintain my London/Hertfordshire roots and to enable the boys to access all local amenities as independently as possible. My property needed to be somewhere where I could entertain formally whilst maintaining the informal feel of a family home.

I spent many months searching until a chance meeting with a local Dorset business person on a Caribbean beach sold the Talbot Woods area to me. The search was over, it was everything I was looking for: location, amenities, size & space and a real family community.
