Cockett's trades as a hotel with B&B facilities and restaurant open for both residents and non-residents. The owners operate pre-retirement to suit themselves and choose not to fully exploit the excellent trading location. They do not offer lunches and coffees and teas and the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The owners choose to open for New Year but not for Christmas or from the 2nd of January to early February, although there is of course good business to be had if desired.
