Full description

Originally constructed in 2010 this wonderful family home offers superbly proportioned and delightfully presented accommodation within a large plot on the edge of the much sought after village of West Ashton. The property is well placed to take advantage of all local amenities and through routes with the village itself offering a well regarded primary school, church and village hall, whilst a comprehensive range of services can be found in Trowbridge around two miles to the North-West.

The ground floor accommodation is accessed from the front door which opens to an impressive reception hallway with stairs rising to the first floor accommodation. Double doors lead to both the dining room and also to the dual aspect sitting room which boasts a feature open fireplace as a focal point. The flag-stoned hallway leads on to a cloakroom and study with the kitchen / breakfast room and utility found to rear, enjoying a glorious aspect to the surrounding countryside.

The first floor accommodation enjoys a large landing area with doors to five double bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from a dressing area with built-in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room with a large double size cubicle.

Externally the property benefits from a double garage with two sets of double doors and a further door opening to the rear garden which is also accessed via French doors from both the kitchen and sitting room. A large flag-stoned patio area leads on to an impressive garden that has been mainly laid to lawn so is relatively low maintenance or indeed a blank canvass for a keen gardener.

Vendors Comments:
This is my view of our house.
We purchased the house from new and really loved the location because of the fantastic views from the garden and the privacy of having no houses behind. We love the big airy rooms with their high ceilings  and the space.
We love the parking as well as we have a double garage and room for 4 cars on the courtyard.
The area is very quiet and peaceful making it a wonderful place to relax.
The 5 double bedrooms provided our children with the space they required as they were growing up as well .
We also have a wonderful size garden to accommodate the dogs too and my love of the sunshine in the summer.
We also have the advantage of train stations in the close towns of Trowbridge and Westbury providing great links to the beautiful city of Bath and Salisbury and great commuter links to London.
