I bought this house with my parents back in 1987 with a view to this home being a forever home for them, with me assisting them with their day to day needs as they became older. Mum & Dad had the ground floor and I had the upstairs. At that time the fourth bedroom became a kitchen and the now utility room downstairs was their bathroom. This worked so well with my parents being able to live independent lives.

We found the location of this lovely family home so convenient as Wootton has everything you could wish for with local shops, doctors, hairdressers and such a frequent bus service to the Islands main towns and ferry ports. Living on the main road was perfect and not at all noisy due to the effective double glazing.

The parking on the front is a godsend and the raised beds give a garden like feel without any maintenance due to the well established shrubs.

When the time came for my house to find a new family I have had professional builders in to upgrade the property creating a blank canvass for the new owners, and replacing the heating system, bathrooms, shower rooms and en-suite in the master bedroom.
