Cairnryan is situated approx 6 miles to the North of Stranraer on Loch Ryan. Cairnryan has a good range of village amenities, but more comprehensive facilities are located in Stranraer such as a hospital, primary and secondary schooling, leisure centre and a variety of shops with some multiple retailers. The west coast of Scotland is particularly well known for its wonderful unspoilt scenery and mild climate throughout the year and with many visitor tourist attractions in the locality its no wonder that this area is one of Scotlands most popular tourist destinations. The entire property has traditional furnishings and attractive décor. On the ground floor, breakfast is served in the restaurant with covers for 20. The restaurant benefits from its large window looking out to the front of the property and a feature fireplace. To the left hand side of the entranceway is a snug bar. The bar is well supported by the local community and residents are made to feel welcome by the locals and owners. The bar is traditionally furnished with comfortable chairs and tables.

The Merchants House offers 3 letting rooms, 2 family bedrooms and 1 double bedroom. Each family room benefits from en-suite facilities, whilst the double bedroom has a private bathroom. Another attractive feature from some of the rooms is the spectacular sea views which can be seen from the bedroom window.

At The Merchant's House, owners benefit from spacious private accommodation which is presented to a good standard and in keeping with the remainder of the property. The accommodation is located on the 2nd floor of the property and consist of 2 bedrooms and a shower room which consists of w.c., wash-hand basin and shower stall, although depending on the requirements of new owners, one of the bedrooms could easily be transformed into a living area.
