PURCHASING THIS PROPERTY WITH A LIFETIME LEASE

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £100,000, please contact Pittis.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

If location is important, then you have to come and see this beautiful first floor apartment – just minutes from the Cliff Path and sandy beaches. Perfectly situated for anyone that loves to admire the stunning coastline that the Island has to offer, what is not to love about the glistening sunshine reflecting on the deep blue sea as far as the eye can see, with perhaps the odd cruise liner in the distance. Then, when you need to rest your legs from all that walking, take your pick from one of the various cafes along the Cliff Path or beach front and grab yourself an ice cream, cream tea or refreshing beverage. Just a short walk in the opposite direction is the town centre, where all your shopping needs can be catered for.

Then just a little further along the road is the famous and picturesque Old Village – with its thatched cottage tea rooms and restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice of where to eat, whether it is lunch with friends or a more special evening meal. At least you don’t need to worry about taxi fares home as you are just a few minutes’ walk away from home!

The apartment itself is decorated to a lovely standard throughout with many original features. All the rooms are very spacious with a bright and airy feeling. This apartment is ideal for any first-time buyers, anyone looking for a second home and investors looking for a good rental return.

What the Owner says:

I’ve loved living in this bright and airy home, the great location has meant that the beach and shops are both within easy reach.

The train station is also just across the road which has made day trips to the mainland really easy, as Ryde Esplanade & Ryde Pier Head are just a short train ride away where you can jump straight onto the Hover or Catamaran over to Portsmouth.

This was my first home and now I feel it is the right time to take a further step up the property ladder and look for something slightly bigger.
