Campbeltown is one of the handful of areas in Scotland categorised as a distinct whisky producing region and is home to the Campbeltown Single Malts. At one point it had 34 distilleries and proclaimed itself "the whisky capital of the world".

Machrihanish lies on the outskirts of Campbeltown and boasts a classic links golf course, described by many, as the defining links course in Scotland. This house was the Longrow Church Manse for over 100 years.

There are 13 letting bedrooms, 10 of which have en-suite facilities and 3 having access to a shared bathroom within the hallway. All rooms can be set up as double or twin bedrooms. The bedrooms have been refurbished to a high modern standard and include LCD televisions and tea/coffee making facilities.

There is a further 14th bedroom which is currently used as a watchman's room but can be used as another letting bedroom with the new owners.
