Full description

Leave Hereford on the A49 as for Ross-On-Wye. Continue for about three miles then on reaching the top of Callow Hill take the second left as for Kingsthorne and Little Birch. Just before the 30mph village sign and bus stop take the left turn into a private lane continue for a few hundred yards bear left just beyond a brick property with ranch fencing then the cottage will be found on the left hand side as the lane starts to descend.

Little Bank Cottage is a former stone built cider barn which in recent years has been converted into a charming single storey cottage. The accommodation features an excellent 22' 6'' living room, a kitchen with high coloured high gloss units, double bedroom, shower room and W.C together with a useful loft room and store approached by an attic ladder. It is worth noting that the kitchen could readily be returned to its former use as a second bedroom and the kitchen units reinstated at the end of the living room to recreate a large open plan living space.
There is a delightful and private terraced garden to the front whilst opposite, on the other side of the approach track, is a further garden with excellent summer house with store room to the rear and sun deck with wonderful views.

Little Bank Cottage is tucked away along an unmade track on the outskirts of popular Kingsthorne village which is approximately 5 miles from Hereford and 10 miles from Ross-On-Wye and the A40 dual carriageway which provides easy access to the motorway network. Views from the property are truly outstanding extending across acres of unspoilt Golden Valley farmland as far as the distant Welsh Mountains to the west. The property stands on the edge of ancient woodland and we are advised that red kite and other birds of prey can regularly be seen in flight from the terrace.
