Properties in Lamberhurst village very rarely become available, especially with as much character and history as this one. So we don't expect this wonderful cottage to be available for long. Set back from the High Street you will find this charming cottage, surrounded by greenery and shrubs to be really picturesque. Venture through the side gate which leads you down the pretty garden path to the paved rear garden. This is easy to maintain but also a great opportunity for someone to really put their own stamp on it. Sit back and relax on the patio area in the summer months whilst soaking up some rays and sipping on a glass of your favourite tipple. It really is a sun trap. Why not invite the family and friends round and enjoy a Summer's barbecue? Tucked away at the end of the garden you will find the garage and driveway - great piece of mind for when guests come over or if you are returning home from a long day's work. The open living/dining area is the focal point for this cottage. Filled with character including the original beams and the marvellous inglenook fireplace and bread oven, it is such a great space for entertaining the guests. The current owners have maintained this pretty cottage over the years but there is opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on it, especially those who really appreciate character; it's perfect.

What the Owner says:

Our family thoroughly enjoyed living here. The location was perfect as it is quiet yet so close to the local amenities including the very good primary school, and the setting is just so pretty. We really like the village; everyone here is so friendly and there is a real sense of community. The cottage is full of character which is one of the main reasons we bought it, especially with original beams and inglenook. Now it is time for us to pass its care on to someone who will put their own stamp on it and make it their own beautiful family home. Off street parking was a huge bonus for us and it will be very convenient for the new owner too. We hope the new owner enjoys living here as much as we did.
