Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Rarely do words fail us but this amazing home literally took us by storm, not for its size or luxury fittings, indeed the owner has gone to great lengths to not modernise it however her meticulous designed and developed home is one of a kind.

The attention to detail shown is a labour of love from the hand crafted tiling in the bathroom to the feature barn doors and industrial girder on the lounge ceiling it is totally unique. Every part of this charming and captivating home has been lovingly created by the owner and is on expression of herself. She ideally wishes to sell to a like minded buyer.

As for the property stained glass and hand made windows allow dappled light to enter from dawn to dusk.

The pretty nature garden creates a colourful environment for wildlife and a chorus of birdsong exists. Cosy lounge cluster around a central kitchen come sitting room and the three bedrooms over three floors each have a unique charm.

A hobby studio and partially completed work room/ provides space in the garden for enthusiasts of all kinds to make their own.

This is a home that will enthral and captivate any viewer but it is certainly not for those who want a standard modern house.

What the Owner says:

I have always liked older homes and although this one needed work on it, I knew it was perfect for me and could see how I could make it my own. My mother knew I would be happy here and she was right, it has a lovely relaxed and soft feel about it, a bit like a warm overcoat.

The neighbours are friendly and the location is really good. I walk to Emsworth and it is so convenient for the shops in Southbourne and easy to jump on the 700 bus or train to Chichester, Portsmouth or further.

I have spent a lot of time making my home very personal to me and I really want to find the buyer who loves it for what it is as I think it is unique.

The garden is private and a mass of colour, if circumstances hadn't made this move necessary I would stay here for the rest of my life. I so hope the next owner connects with its calm aura as I have.
