Royal Artillery Quays

Built in 2000 and consisting of 8 river facing towers Royal Artillery Quays was formerly part of the Royal Arsenal site until the 1960's when the Ministry Of Defence gave 1000 acres of predominantly marshland over to be developed for much needed housing.

The marshland had been used as a site for testing munitions manufactured in the Royal Arsenal as the boggy land dulled the explosions and the area was largely uninhabited at the time.

The Property

Located on the 4th floor with access via security controlled communal door to the communal hallway, take the stairs or for ease the lift.

Once inside the flat the hallway gives access to all rooms with the living room at the furthest end of the hall.

The living room is a good size with ample space for sofas and a dining table. There is a glazed door giving access to the balcony from which you can enjoy views to the River Thames.

The kitchen area is separate to the living which is unusual in modern flats but means it can be closed off from the rest of the flat when cooking. The appliances include gas hob, oven, extractor, fridge, freezer and dishwasher with a good amount of work top space above and there is a window facing west. (N.B. None of the appliances have been tested)

Both the bedrooms are doubles and face to the east. The main bedroom has the ensuite shower room and there is a bathroom just back off the hallway.

The property would benefit from some re-decoration and updating but also comes with secure underground parking.
