Situated in the popular Windmill Hill location, is this wonderful retirement development suitable exclusively for those aged 55 years and over. Step over the threshold and into the main communal entrance and you will soon realise that everything about this place will scream ‘luxury’ at you.

Built and managed by the prestigious McCarthy & Stone, it comprises of both one and two bedroom apartments which are arranged over a number of floors and can all be accessed by lifts, giving you that extra peace of mind.

If you have ever had any apprehensions about retirement developments then Nelson Court should alleviate them. You almost have to remind yourself that you have the opportunity to own an apartment here, and it’s not just for a weekend break!

There is a communal lounge, where residents often catch up over a cup of tea. However, if you would prefer some ‘me time’ then the apartment itself, is great place to do just that. There is an on-site restaurant, so if you don’t fancy cooking, then you could take your choice from the varied menu available, you could even be joined for dinner in the restaurant by visiting family and friends making meal times stress free. If you prefer the outdoors, then why not sit out in the beautiful communal garden where you can admire the colourful flower beds that are tended all year round. With the mail delivered to your own front door, a launderette and a cleaner once a week, this property is perfect for independent living with extra help if you require it.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

My mother lived here and enjoyed it thoroughly in her final years. We had peace of mind with her being here as the facilities are great and really do cater for the needs of those at retirement age, as does the level of care from the fantastic staff here.

The guest suite is a huge bonus as family members could often visit and stay within close proximity at a nominal cost.

We have fitted new carpets throughout the apartment to give the place a new lease of life, also hopefully making it easier for the new owner/s to move straight in without having to do anything.
