Very little remains of the old house or the gardens. Basically it is a new house. Since 2001 the area has experienced considerable gentrification. Schools have improved to an excellent Ofsted standard. Local shops (Co-op & Tesco Metro) and Cafes along with a renewed train station and a recently built new medical centre have opened. Wimbledon town centre is a 15 minute walk away via the beautiful Dundonald Park. Raynes Park is just a 10 minute walk away with a large Waitrose supermarket, mainline train station (serving Waterloo) and countless restaurants. The A3 is a stones throw away with easy access to the M25, M3, A4 and Heathrow. We will be sad to leave this beautiful, modern, and comfortable house but know the new owners will enjoy living here as much as we have!
