Craik Forest lies at the far end of a single track road leading from the village of Roberton in the heart of Teviotdale and the rolling Borders hills. At the junction at the top of the hill take the road down to Craik Forest and once you have crossed the bridge take the first left into the forestry carpark and picnic area. The plot is entered through the gate with a variety of buildings on site, some in a state of disrepair, and is signposted Craik Village and Craik Hope Outdoor Centre.
Formerly part of the Hoscote Estate, Craik Depot was, as the name suggests, the former depot for Craik Forest and includes a number of retained forestry buildings and facilities.
