DESCRIPTION:
All Saints church is a simple chapel-style church with quite a dramatic single bellcote situated beside Duncliffe Hill three miles south west of Shaftesbury. The church was built in 1868 of snecked rubble with ashlar dressings and a tiled roof with stone copings. It has now been closed as a place of worship.

The interior is whitewashed, usefully configured as an almost entirely open and therefore flexible space and contains some attractive detailing such as stained glass windows.

SITUATION:
The church is located in the centre of Stour Row, a rural village about 3 miles south west of Shaftesbury, which offers facilities to cater for most everyday requirements. The local village of Marnhull (about 3 miles) offers further facilities. The area is blessed with excellent communication links with the nearby town of Gillingham (5 miles) providing a mainline railway station serving regular trains to London Waterloo and the main regional centres of Bath, Salisbury and Bournemouth are all within easy driving distance.

The church is Grade II listed as being of a special architectural and historical interest. The existing planning use class is D1.

From Shaftesbury proceed west on the A30 towards Sherborne and after approximately 2 miles take the left hand turn signposted to Stour Row opposite the Kings Arms. Follow this road into Stour Row and at the 'T' junction turn left and the church will be found shortly on the right hand side.
