Lovely Brunswick Park is close for chilling out or for playing tennis. Ruskin and Burgess parks are walkable too. Camberwell Leisure Centre, run by Everybody Active, has two pools in the original Victorian building, plus good gym facilities and classes. The South London Gallery and smart cafe/restaurant next door is nearby.

Camberwellians tend to grab a bus up Camberwell New Road for Oval tube, or up Camberwell New Road for Elephant & Castle. It’s easy too to walk to Denmark Hill station for the mainline and Overground services.
