Living Here... - This charming flat is early 20th century and is a classic Warner property of the period. Step through the front door and you will immediately appreciate the love the current owners have furnished on their home. Even the welcoming hallway is beautifully decorated, with the vertical radiator, one of many throughout the property a design classic. The lounge with its window looking out to the substantial garden and fireplace will quickly become a place to relax in the evening - reserve your place on the sofa to avoid disappointment. There is a charming homely well appointed kitchen and a simple elegant bathroom fitted with that little bit of classic London Underground chic the metro tiles. It's A Walthamstow Thing... - People love this area as there is so much to do. It has great open spaces with Lloyd Park on your doorstep, good schools, great transport links and a good mix of local cafes, shops and pubs.

...As If That Wasn't Enough... - If you can lay your hands on a copy, the unique E-List magazine profiles local heroes, artists, history, local businesses, and thats before you have highlighted sections of the five pages of local events that you simply must do. (We always have a spares in the office for those in need, so pop in any time to grab a copy.)

In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary - 5 minutes walk away you will find yourself in Lloyd Park. William Morris was a Walthamstow lad, he lived in the Water House on Forest Road. His childhood home is now the William Morris gallery, the only gallery on the face of the planet dedicated to his life and work. Lloyd park, in which the gallery stands, is named after another former resident of the Water House, Edward Lloyd, a publisher of penny dreadfuls. As well as having a medieval moat, playground and a cafe, the park is also home to some great local events, including the May Day dog show which shouldnt be missed. The best dressed dog round is amazing, one year it had a Star Wars theme, staffie princess Leahs competed against AT-AT Great Danes, it was glorious.
The park is surrounded by quiet streets of ex Warner properties, the bell pub is around the corner from the gallery, and the cafes of Hoe Street are just a short trot away. Give Wynwood art district a go, this little cafe has a lot going on, including a running club and exhibitions. Tommy's tuck in cafe, opposite the park, is a good spot for a hangover fixing breakfast.
