2 bedroom semi-detached house for saleBognor Road, Chichester, West Sussex
- Brick and Flint built cottage
- 2 Reception rooms
- Character features
- Great size south westerly gardens
- Double glazing and gas central heating
Brick and flint cottages are just so popular, this characterful home offers the perfect opportunity for someone to have one of their own in Chichester. The home is so very charming and like most homes of this age it is all a little bit crooked in places, this just adds to the charm.Currently, the home is laid out with a sitting room to the front, which then opens up to the main living room that runs the width of the home and French doors to the gardens. You may decide that you have the front room as a snug, or maybe you want it as a dining room, come Christmas maybe you will extend the dining room table and make it in to a living room, the choice is yours! The kitchen can be found at the rear, with an abundance of units and work surfaces which can be unusual in a character cottage. So if you fancy yourself as a bit of a cook or baker, then you have plenty of room to create. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor and Jack and Jill doors give you access to the large modern bathroom, from both the bedrooms.Gardens extend to the rear and are south westerly, so it will be a case of trying to escape to the sun, and what a size, something you are unlikely to see in most modern homes in the area. To the rear is a large timber studio/summerhouse, a great spot to enjoy a drink at the end of a hard day of tinkering in the gardens.
What the Owner says:
The home was just perfect for me when I bought it with a close access to Chichester being on a local bus route and with close access to the M27, which allows me to be in the Witterings, Selsey or Goodwood very easily.I have spent a good deal of money improving the home and I am sure the new owners will want to put their own twist on it. When I bought the home I had contemplated dropping the curb and putting in a driveway, however I always seem to be able to park out the front, so I never got round to it.I am sure the new owner will love the home as I do.
